License & Usage Rights

This License & Usage Rights policy applies to digital artworks purchased from Still Moments.

Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright ownership. Instead, the purchaser receives a limited, non-exclusive license to use the purchased artwork in accordance with the terms below.

1. License Granted

Each purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use and commercial interior decoration.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page:

One purchase covers one physical property or location, with unlimited display within that location.

For example, one licensed artwork may be printed and displayed in multiple rooms within the same hotel, Airbnb property, clinic, office, residence, retreat, or other single physical location.

A separate license is required for a different physical property or location.

2. Permitted Uses

The purchaser may:

Print the artwork for personal or commercial interior decoration

Use a professional printing service to produce the authorized physical print

Display the finished print in a private or commercial interior

Display the artwork in multiple rooms within the same licensed physical property

Use the finished print for residential or commercial interior decoration

A professional printer may receive temporary access to the digital file solely for the purpose of producing the authorized print for the licensed purchaser. The printer may not retain, resell, redistribute, publish, or otherwise use the file for its own purposes.

3. Prohibited Uses

The purchaser may not:

Resell the digital file

Redistribute, share, publish, or publicly distribute the digital file

Make the digital file available for download by others

Sell the artwork as a digital product

Upload the artwork to stock-image, asset, template, or similar libraries

Use the artwork in print-on-demand products for resale

Incorporate the artwork into products, merchandise, packaging, or other items for resale

Use the artwork as a trademark, logo, brand identity, or service mark

Claim the artwork as the purchaser's own original creation

Transfer, sublicense, or assign the digital file or license to another person or business

Use the digital file for a different physical property or location without obtaining an additional license

4. Copyright Ownership

All copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the artwork remain with Alan Cao / Still Moments.

The purchase of a digital artwork and the purchase of a license do not transfer copyright ownership.

The purchaser may not register the artwork as their own copyright or otherwise represent themselves as the creator of the artwork.

5. Commercial Interior Display

The commercial interior license permits the artwork to be used as decorative artwork within the licensed physical property.

It does not grant rights to use the artwork as a commercial brand asset, logo, advertising asset, merchandise design, product design, or standalone commercial image asset.

6. Additional Locations

If the purchaser wishes to display the same artwork at a different physical property or location, an additional license is required.

For example, separate physical locations such as two different hotels, two different Airbnb properties, or two separate clinic locations require separate licenses unless a broader license has been agreed in writing.

7. License Termination

If a purchase is refunded because of a product-related issue, the license associated with that refunded purchase may be terminated.

Where permitted by applicable law, the purchaser must cease using the refunded artwork and delete the digital files.
